Addiction Prevention Alliance Howell New Jersey. The Howell Alliance collaborates across the community to prevent substance abuse, underage drinking/marijuana use, alcoholism, tobacco/nicotine use, vaping, and other at-risk behaviors and to promote behavioral health and the reduction of substance use and mental health disorder stigmas. We accomplish our mission through substance use and mental health education, outreach, and public awareness initiatives, including prevention, treatment, and recovery information and resources. Our stakeholders include law enforcement, educators, town officials, businesses, civic organizations, youth, and concerned citizens.

Lowell NJ Monmouth County Division of Addiction Services. The Monmouth County Division of Behavioral Health serves residents through mental health and addiction services resources. In 2020, the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners combined the offices of mental health and addiction services as a step towards becoming stigma free. Advocates on behalf of all residents who require assistance in accessing services and /or responding to consumer complaints. Serves as a liaison to mental health agencies between local, county and state agencies. Provides information and referral services for addiction services.
