The Passaic County Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services receives state and county funding to ensure the availability of treatment services, particularly for the indigent. United for Prevention in Passaic County (UPinPC) seeks to create environmental change relating to substance use by promoting awareness, communication, and support for all county residents.. For youth and families to thrive in a safe and healthy environment, communities must address the numerous risk factors that lead to the early use of alcohol and other drugs, often the first step on a path to addiction. The Passaic County Prevention Warm Line is a clear connection point to access both evidence-based prevention programs for youth and families, as well as information and referral for those in need of assistance with navigating local and state family support services being offered by the Prevention Hub and beyond.

Straight & Narrow offers three residential treatment (ASAM Level III.5) programs for women: Alpha I, Alpha II and Alpha III. Our goal is to offer trauma informed compassionate care that is sensitive to the unique needs of women. Medically Monitored Inpatient Withdrawal Management Level 3.7WM (Detox)- organized service delivered by medical and nursing professionals, which provides 24-hr medically supervised evaluation to consumers whose withdrawal signs and symptoms are sufficient severe to require 24-hour medical monitoring.
